REACH MISSIONS

Reach one child, reach one generation

Our Mission and Vision

We believe in a future where children, youth, and families in the disadvantaged communities where we work in South Africa (Mpumalanga province) will find hope, love, and freedom in Jesus, and where they themselves will be salt and light in their communities.

What We Do

Reach Missions Outreach

Reach Missions Outreach

Granite Hill is a community we focus on specifically. Here we build relationships through home visits and children's programmes. Our desire is to truly know the people of Granite Hill and to make God's love visible in their daily lives.

Reach Missions Medical

Every Thursday Corianne works as a nurse at the El Roï clinic in Msholozi, a deprived neighbourhood where the poorest people come. Often they have no ID, which makes it hard for them to get access to government clinics or hospitals. Malnutrition, infectious diseases, HIV and skin conditions are common. Alongside medical care we also offer counselling and nutritional advice, and we support a number of families with food parcels.

By helping out with maintenance jobs, Hendri ensures mission bases are safe and functional, enabling other missionaries to focus more fully on their calling.

Heart for People

Every Person, Every Story Matters

Reach Missions stands for: Reach one child. Reach one generation. We believe that when one child is reached with the love and truth of Jesus Christ, this unleashes a chain reaction of hope in families, in communities, and ultimately in generations. We believe that God's Kingdom does not begin with large numbers, but with one name, one face, one life. That is why we stop for the one. For that one child no one sees. For that family without a voice or rights. For those the world passes by, but who are known and loved by God. Because if God stops for the one, so do we.

Clinic El Roï

Corianne's work at the ASM El Roï Clinic is more than just healthcare: it's about making sure every person feels loved, seen, and valued.

Medical Care with Compassion

Every Thursday the clinic is open in Msholozi, where people receive practical help, medical care, personal attention and a listening ear.

A Moment of Worship

Every Thursday we gather for worship and a morning devotion, creating a beautiful space to share the love of Christ with the patients who visit our clinic.

About Us

Who We Are

Reach Missions was founded in 2023 by Hendri and Corianne 't Lam. Since 2021 we have been sent out by our church in Bleskensgraaf and we live together with our children Ryan and Jamie-Lee in South Africa. During this time we have developed a deep love for the local people. Our hearts go out to the many people entangled in poverty, hopelessness, and fear. We want to reach children and their families with the transforming love of Jesus and see broken hearts and lives restored. We believe that when a child gets to know the Gospel, this also touches the family, the community, and the next generation. That is why we focus on those whom the world sometimes overlooks. Our work is made possible by our sending church, various other churches that support us, and by family, friends, and acquaintances who enjoy being partners in the work we do.
